Actually, you always have a diet. Your diet is anything you habitually eat. It could be anything. So “No-diet” is not technically accurate, because it is a way of habitually eating.
So what’s different about us?
At The No-Diet Blog, we advocate a rejection from traditional dieting mentality. There are no “bad” foods, just good foods. There is food that makes you feel good, that is nourishing and practical and then there is food that makes you feel like you’re doing yourself a disservice. That’s all there is to it. No gimmicks, no points, no restrictions, no diet: Just good food.
We’re definitely against processed foods. If, right now, you’re living off of microwave dinners and yogurt, we’re here as a resource to help you transition into whole foods. If you’re eating out 7 out of 10 times, then we want to help you take control of what you eat and stop spending money on what seems “convenient”.
Also, we don’t believe in overnight changes. Healthy lifestyles are a daily occurrence not an instant fix. This is the hardest part of any change: accepting that it is not immediate.
